Hey all,

http://www.acdc-bootlegs.com/
Sign up to get the bootleg.
Here is one of my favorite videos from the lads. Man, the start of an AC/DC concert is such a powerful experience. You have to have seen them live to understand what I'm talking about. The band has such a presence when they hit the stage, it is unreal.
Enjoy the video!!

You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
Great video here from the lads, the classic You Shook Me All Night Long, aka YSMANL. I'll post an update when I find out when the exact date is. My AC/DC memory is foggy right now.
In the meantime, enjoy these great videos from the boys.
Here is another great live version of YSMANL, 2000 Kölnarena 2000

News About AC/DC?
On the AC/DC forum I moderate, someone posted that there is going to be a major announcement concerning AC/DC on Friday. This person is pretty reliable and claims to already know the news. I'll find out Friday what the news is, if any.
AC/DC last release was 'Stiff Upper Lip' in 2000, and the band has not played a show together since late 2003. I know all of the die hard fans have had their patience tested either waiting for new material and tour, or waiting on the band's retirement. I hope it is the former.

Down Payment Blues Lyrics - AC/DC
For the couple of you who have read my blog (thanks!), I'm sure you have figured out by now I'm a huge AC/DC fan, and have been since 1983, when I attended my first ever concert. I was 16 at the time. One guess on who it was. AC/DC played at the Lakeland Civic Center in Florida. They had just released 'Flick of The Switch', which is a great album. To say I was blown away at the concert is an understatement.
After that fateful night all I really listened to was AC/DC. Now back in the vinyl days I had a turntable and some great Pioneer headphones. My favorite album has always been 'Powerage', and Down Payment Blues is the second track. This is one of my all time favorite songs. Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Bon Scott, Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams are almost perfect on this song. The guitars are loud, mean, deep, raw and hard hitting, Bon's lyrics are amazing, his voice just out of this world, and Cliff and Phil hold down the beat second to none. I'm sure the are some web sites where you can listen to the 'Powerage' version of this song if you have not heard it before.
With that, here are the lyrics to this great song, written by Young, Young and Scott.
Down Payment Blues
(A. Young / M. Young / B. Scott)
I know that it's evil
I know that it's gotta be
I know I ain't doing much
doing nothing means a lot to me
living on a shoestring
a fifty cent millionaire
open to charity
rock 'n' roll welfare
sitting in my Cadillac
listening to my radio
Suzy baby get on in
tell me where she wanna go
I'm living in a nightmare
she's looking like a wet dream
I got myself a Cadillac
but I can't afford the gasoline
I got holes in my shoes
and I'm way overdue
down payment blues
get myself a steady job
some responsibility
can't even feed my cat
on social security
hiding from the rent man
oh it make me wanna cry
sheriff knocking on my door
ain't it funny how the time flies
sitting on my sailing boat
sipping on my champagne
Suzy baby all at sea
say she wanna come again
feeling like a paper cup
floating down a storm drain
got myself a sailing boat
but I can't afford a drop of rain
I got holes in my shoes
and I'm way overdue
down payment blues
down payment blues
down payment blues
down payment blues
I got holes in my shoes
and I'm way overdue
I got the
down payment blues
